Double whammy! The release of our third track Fought An Angel coincided with the release of our EP Nowhere To Point. Dutch leading drum/percussion magazine Slagwerkkrant published a wonderful interview with Frank Tontoh, who stood at the base of our yacht rock endeavour.

The Crown is gaining traction. What does it mean? That more and more people are listening to our songs! Reviewers and listeners praise our ‘lovely and well produced track’ (Tobias Ahlers) and the ‘attractive vocal tone’ (Laura Isenberg). We’re also proud to be on rotation as part of diverse playlists such as Modern Yacht Rock and Pop With Soul.

NEW TRACK: THE CROWN

Spring is here and so is our latest track The Crown! First raving reviews mention ‘blue eyed soul’ and ‘addictive ear candy’. Obviously, we’re pleased as pudding. A tale about sibling rivalry, The Crown reflects the turbulent dynamics between classic pairings. You know:  Jacob & Esau, Venus & Serena and, yes, perhaps even William & Harry.

RECORDING DETAILS

Colored by the walls of Power Sound Studio and the MOST studio, the soulful groove comes courtesy of Frank Tontoh (drums) and Mark Haanstra (bass). Stalwart collaborators Jeroen de Rijk (percussion) and Bastiaan Mulder (guitars) add that familiar Sterlatone flavour. Thanks to the mastering skills of Sander van der Heide at Wisseloord Studios, the track is now a shining example of 21st Century Yacht Rock. It goes without saying that we couldn’t be happier.

NEW TRACK FINISHED

Just finished the first track from our upcoming EP! Right Before Dawn will appear on Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube Music et al on the 21st of January, 2023. The track features Bastiaan Mulder (guitar), Jeroen de Rijk (percussion), Frank Tontoh (drums), Mark Haanstra (bass) and the Dutch String Collective. In other words, quite the jaw-breaking ensemble!

NEW EP COMING SOON

We’re currently working on a new EP. A session at Power Sound Studio in Amsterdam yielded three awesome tracks to further build on. We feel privileged to work with an ace rhythm section that consists of none other than Frank Tontoh and Mark Haanstra. Stay tuned!
